## FAQs

### How do I save my work?

Use the header save icon or press `Ctrl+S` or `Cmd+S`.

### Does the app autosave?

Yes. The app includes autosave behavior, but you should still watch the footer and save manually before leaving important work.

### Why did `New` or `Save As` open a new tab?

Both actions create a new scene context, and the app opens the result in a separate browser tab.

### Why can I not delete some objects?

Some objects are protected because they are the `Initial User Position` object or because they belong to an imported hierarchy and are not meant to be deleted individually.

### Why can I not hide the `Initial User Position` object?

That object is intentionally protected and cannot be hidden in the standard app.

### Can I switch the app language?

Not in the currently routed production experience reviewed here. The profile menu only shows a static `English` row.

### Is there a read-only editor mode?

Users without the correct permission are blocked by an access-denied flow.

## Troubleshooting

### I am being redirected instead of opening the scene

Possible causes:

* Your session expired
* You are not authenticated
* The link is incomplete or not supported by this app
* The organization in the link does not match your account access

### I see `Authentication Error`

Use `Try Again` first. If the issue continues, verify the sign-in session and the original link source.

### I see `Access Denied`

This usually means you do not have permission to open the scene or a required asset. Return to the dashboard and confirm your access.

### The scene will not save

Possible causes:

* Network or backend failure
* Save conflict because the scene changed elsewhere
* Invalid or incomplete scene metadata

If a conflict warning appears, do not assume your local version is the only latest version.

### Pair Device says `Invalid code`

Check that:

* The code is exactly 6 digits
* The timer has not expired
* You entered the code shown on the device, not an older code

### The object library is empty

This can happen if:

* No matching assets meet the search or tag filters
* The organization has no available 3D assets in the current library response

## Best Practices

* Open scenes from trusted dashboard links so organization context is preserved correctly.
* Save manually before closing the tab even when autosave is active.
* Rename scenes and timelines clearly so teams can identify them later.
* Use hierarchy search for large scenes instead of manual scrolling.
* Keep object names meaningful before you begin animation work.
* Use the properties pane for precise numeric editing and the viewport for quick spatial adjustments.
* Review collider settings after adding or resizing imported objects.
* Use the Animation Guide the first time you record to learn the intended workflow.
* Treat the footer as your quick health check for theme, grid size, FPS, and save status.
