# Height Adjustment

> Raise or lower your view in a Training using the Grip button and the joystick (Meta Quest) or trackpad (HTC Vive).

You can raise or lower your view inside a Training, for example to see equipment that's high up or near the floor. It works with either controller.

To adjust the camera height:

1. Press and hold the **Grip** button on the controller.
2. While holding the Grip button, move your view up or down:

    Push the controller's **joystick forward** to increase the height, or pull it **backward** to decrease the height.

    Push forward on the **trackpad** to increase the height, or pull backward on the trackpad to decrease the height.

## Good to Know

* You can't go below the floor of the scene. There's no upper limit.
* While you hold the Grip button, you can't self teleport. Teleport works again a moment after you release it.
* Your height is reset when you [self teleport](/creator-studio/trainee-client/self-teleport) or use **Reset Anchor**. See [Adjust Anchor](/creator-studio/trainee-client/adjust-anchor).
* Height adjustment still works when a Training turns Self Teleport off.
