# Supported Devices

> The headsets, controllers and PC setup the Trainee Client supports on Meta Quest and HTC Vive.

The Trainee Client runs on Meta Quest headsets on their own, and on HTC Vive headsets connected to a Windows PC.

## Meta Quest

## HTC Vive

The app runs on the PC and displays in the headset through SteamVR, using HTC Vive headsets and controllers.

## Internet Connection

You need an internet connection to log in, download a Training for the first time, resume a saved session, and send your progress to Altoura Cloud.

While you're signed in, you can open previously downloaded Trainings offline. Your progress is saved on the device and sent when you reconnect. If you use SSO and restart the app while offline, you'll need to reconnect to sign in. See [Progress & Completion](/creator-studio/trainee-client/progress-completion).
