# Voice Commands

> Within the app you can use voice commands to trigger certain tasks in app as well.

**"Menu"** - opens the HoloLens shell menu

**"Select"** - selects whatever the finger pointer or gaze pointer is on

**"Place Anchor"** - used during the anchoring step to select a location of the anchor

**"Reset Anchor"** - used when in a space to reset the anchor of your space

**"Go Back"** - used during an experience to trigger the back button if the back button is active

**"Next Step"** - used during an experience to trigger the next button if the next button is active

**"Edit Mode On"** - used during an experience to turn on edit mode

**"Edit Mode Off"** - used during an experience to turn off edit mode
