# Exporting an Altoura Experience to Dynamics 365 Guides

> In order for this process to be supported, you must have an active Guides license, and follow the setup instructions outlined here:

Once you've followed the previous instructions, any Altoura project can be exported as a Dynamics 365 Guide, but given the nature of Guides as an AR tool, an obvious prerequisite is that your Altoura project should have a 3D model that's been scaled to the real-world equivalent of what you'd like to feature in your Dynamics 365 Guides project.

With your Altoura 360 Experience built and ready to export, enter Experience Builder from the main menu, with the Experience you're exporting open:

Once Experience Builder is open, go back to the Main Menu and choose "Manage Exports"

Next, click on the "Export to Guides" Button

Next, you'll need to choose the Dynamics 365 Guides instance you'll be exporting to, and also name your Guide. Then click the "Export" button.

Next, select the surface where you would like to place your QR anchor. Remember, this is the same place you'll set your anchor in the real-world environment.

Long press on the surface where you'd like to place your anchor. Then you'll see the anchor, along with a gizmo you can use to drag and rotate it to the proper position. You can always long press again if you want to re-place it. Once you've placed it in the right position, press "Confirm."

Now your Guide is exporting, you can refresh the export window to check progress. Once it's marked "Completed," you can open the Guide in the instance to which you exported it.
