# Choose Your Path

> Role-based first-day checklists for Altoura Frontline. Pick your role and follow the reading order that gets you productive fastest.

## Field worker / operator

**Your day-to-day:** pick up your device, run the procedure for the job you're about to do, and call a specialist if something doesn't match what you see.

  Operators work on either **HoloLens 2** or **iPad**. The concepts are identical — steps 3 onward fork by device, so follow the links for the device in your hands.

## Procedure author

**Your day-to-day:** turn expert knowledge into guided procedures that operators can run reliably in the field. Most authors build the structure in the browser, then finish spatial placement on the device.

## Remote expert

**Your day-to-day:** a field worker calls — you join from Microsoft Teams, see what they see, and walk them through a fix with annotations, PDFs, and 3D models.

## IT administrator

**Your day-to-day:** get Altoura Frontline wired into your Entra ID tenant, deploy the Remote Expert Teams app, and make sure the first end-to-end test passes.
