MS Project Acoustics is a plugin that simulates audio reflections based on both geometry and materials within a 3D space. It’s able to achieve great results without major performance issues by pre-calculating a space’s geometry and material data and applying the effects to audio sources within the space. This process, referred to as “baking”, creates a text file (.ace) that contains all the data for that space. The implementation of this text file and the creation of audio sources within Altoura differs a bit from setup in Unity.
