Action A function that can be added to a Connector to manipulate an Object in the scene. Connectors can contain numerous Actions, and they can be ordered and reordered. Analytics The section of the Altoura 360 Portal where users can access their organization’s usage patterns and user performance data, powered by Microsoft Power BI. Attention Director The dashed white tether that originates from the Panel and ends at the Target Object. Connector A representation of the transition from one Node to the next in Experience Builder. Connectors also contain properties where users can add actions to manipulate Objects in many ways during these transitions. Default Meeple The representation of the location and rotation of the user when spawning into a Space. This is not visible to the end user or trainee, only in Space Builder or Experience Builder. Dollhouse A scaled aerial view of the space that a user can toggle on and off in order to navigate or view from a more distant perspective. Event A consequence within a Node, from a human interaction, that causes the step to complete with accompanying Object updates, and then move to the Connector and the next Node. Experience A step-by-step progression of Events and Actions, requiring user input and accompanied by text Panels. “Experience” and “Training” are often used interchangeably, as an Experience usually consists of all the steps within a training. Experience Builder The set of Altoura 360 tools, either in the app or within the Altoura Portal, that are used to create and combine individual steps to create an Experience. Experience Canvas The interface that visually represents an Experience in Altoura 360. This is where all the steps are shown, and users can sync to these steps and view their properties. Floor A default Floor is created when a user creates a Space. The Floor has specific properties — the end user can only navigate on the Floor, and it is also the default Object that other Objects get added to. Meeting A multi-user session where people can collaborate in a space at the same time and have the state of that collaboration tracked. Node A set of properties, visually represented in Experience Builder, that define a single step within an Experience, including instructional text, interactable Objects, interaction types, instructional animations and more. Object An asset in the form of a GLB or a Unity Asset Bundle that can be uploaded to the Object Library, then added to a 3D Space and utilized in an Experience. Object Library The collection of Objects that have been uploaded to a given Organization. These are uploaded in the Portal and can be added to Spaces both through the Portal and in-app Space Builder. Organization Each Organization is managed by an admin user, who can add other users. Projects, Object Libraries, Experiences and Analytics all belong to Organizations — in other words, the Altoura 360 content users see is based on the Organization they belong to. Panel The UI within the 3D space that shows the end user, or trainee, the instructional text and additional images or video for one step within an Experience. Portal The collection of web-based repositories and building and analytics tools for Altoura 360. This is where users can create, manage and edit Projects, Spaces and Experiences, upload content, and view analytics for all their users. Project The high-level organizational structure within Altoura 360. A project can contain multiple Spaces. Space A discrete 3D environment within an Altoura 360 Project, which by default contains a Floor and a Default Meeple position. This is where you add your 3D content for training Experiences. Space Builder The editor where users can add and edit Objects, and generally set up their Space. What is built in Space Builder can be thought of as the starting state of an Experience, however it’s possible to create a Space without an Experience. Target Object The Object within a step that the Attention Director points to. Training Object The Object within a step that requires human interaction.
