Validate the Installation

After completing all setup steps and after Altoura has configured the backend, perform an end-to-end test to confirm everything is working.

Validation Checklist

  • Meeting creation: Trigger a remote assist session (via the Altoura client or test flow) and verify the Teams meeting is created successfully.
  • Expert notification: Confirm the expert receives an Adaptive Card in Teams chat with the meeting join link.
  • App in meeting: Join the meeting as the expert and verify the “Altoura Remote Expert” app appears in the meeting’s side panel.
  • Annotation stage: Click “Start Annotating” and confirm the full-screen annotation canvas opens on the meeting stage.
  • Real-time sync: Draw annotations and verify they appear on the field worker’s device in real time.
