Overview

The Altoura Frontline Procedures Portal is the web workspace for creating, editing, and managing procedures. Access is controlled through your organization’s Single Sign-On (SSO), so you sign in once with your work account and are redirected back to the portal. This page walks through the full sign-in flow, from opening the portal URL to landing on the Procedures page.

Before You Begin

  • Confirm your Altoura account has been provisioned by your administrator.
  • Make sure you have access to your Microsoft Authenticator (or the configured MFA method) for multi-factor approval.
  • Use a supported browser (latest Chrome, Edge, or Firefox).

Portal URL

The Procedures Portal is hosted at: https://procedure.altoura.com Opening this URL while signed out redirects you to the Altoura login page (login.altoura.com).

Sign-In Flow

The sign-in flow is a four-step process: enter your email, get redirected to your SSO provider, enter your password, and approve the multi-factor sign-in request. After the last step, you land on the Procedures page.

Step 1: Enter Your Email

When you open the portal, the Login with Email screen appears. Enter your work email address in the Email Address field.

Select Continue once your email is entered.

Step 2: Redirect to Your SSO Provider

If your account is configured for Single Sign-On, a confirmation message Redirecting to SSO provider… appears below the Continue button and the browser navigates to your organization’s identity provider (typically Microsoft / Entra ID).

Step 3: Enter Your Password

The Microsoft sign-in page (login.microsoftonline.com) opens with your email pre-filled. Enter your password and select Sign in.

If you have forgotten your password, select Forgot my password to begin a reset flow with your identity provider.

Step 4: Approve the Multi-Factor Request

Microsoft prompts you to approve the sign-in using your configured Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) method, typically the Microsoft Authenticator app. A 2-digit verification number appears on the web screen.

Open the Microsoft Authenticator app on your phone and:
  1. Tap the incoming sign-in notification.
  2. Enter the 2-digit number displayed on the web screen.
  3. Confirm with biometrics or PIN if prompted.
If you do not receive a notification, swipe down inside the Authenticator app to refresh, or select I can’t use my Microsoft Authenticator app right now on the web screen to choose a different verification method.

Step 5: Land on the Procedures Page

Once MFA is approved, the browser returns to procedure.altoura.com/procedures and the Procedures page loads. You are signed in and ready to work.

Signing Out

To sign out of the Procedures Portal:
  1. Select your profile avatar in the top-right corner of the Procedures page. The profile dropdown opens, showing your name, email, Pair Device, and Logout.
  2. Choose Logout from the dropdown.

Your session ends and you are returned to the Altoura login page. Signing out of the portal does not sign you out of any Microsoft services on the same browser.

Troubleshooting

If sign-in does not complete, try the following:
  • Email not recognized: Confirm you are using the work email registered with Altoura. Contact your administrator if it has not been provisioned.
  • No SSO redirect: Verify your organization has SSO enabled. If your account uses a password instead, complete the standard Altoura password flow.
  • Password rejected by Microsoft: Use Forgot my password on the Microsoft sign-in page to reset it with your identity provider.
  • MFA approval not received: Open the Authenticator app and pull down to refresh, or use a backup method via I can’t use my Microsoft Authenticator app right now.
  • Redirect loop or session error: Clear cookies for procedure.altoura.com and login.altoura.com, then sign in again.
