Prerequisites

  1. Windows System should have the latest graphic update installed. We can check the updates here
  2. Uninstall/remove the previous Altoura apps from the system.
  3. Here are the system requirements for the Vive Pro 2

Vive Pro2 Setup

Before using VIVE Pro 2, you’ll need to complete the setup process, which includes installing VIVE™ and SteamVR software, setting up the hardware, and defining your play area. Important: Make sure to use VIVE Link Box (2.0) and VIVE Headset Cable (2.0) included with VIVE Pro 2. After you install everything, use the SteamVR app to check that your VR equipment—including the base stations, headset, and controllers—is tracked. Use SteamVR to change your play area. You might need to do this if you adjust the base stations or move your system to a different room. Use the VIVE Console app to change headset-related settings. To find out how to change the display resolution, see Changing headset display settings Once the above steps are done SteamVR setting developer setting looks like below image. While you are looking for the developer settings make sure its connected to PC.

Content & Project Set up

Currently, the content and project setup for Vive is the same as for Windows. In other words, Windows content and projects should run using the Vive build.

Run Altoura

Once the above the setup is done, make sure you’ve downloaded the Altoura app from [here], and then installed it to your system. Once the app is installed, launch it from the PC and put the Vive headset. Make sure that vive is connected to the PC. At this point you should see the Altoura splash screen.
