Now we need to put your 3D assets into a place where a user can see them in Altoura. This means creating a Project and then defining a Space within that Project. These steps will be in the Altoura Portal Experience Builder.
First create a new Project. Call it “Open Safe Tutorial”.Give it a name and a thumbnail image.Create a Section, also name it “Main” and choose “3D Section” as the Section type.Once the Main Section is created you will be able to add a Space. We can call it Open Safe.Under the “Add New +” button choose “Asset Bundle”Title it “Open Safe (your first name)” and give it a thumbnail image if you have one you can use. Sometimes taking a screenshot from the Unity Editor is the most descriptive for users, but anything will work. The Project name should be unique so that you can tell it apart from other tutorial projects other users in your organization may be creating. The other settings are not needed. The important thing at this point is to upload the “safebundle” Asset Bundle that you exported from Unity and upload it into the appropriate category. If you have Asset Bundles for all device types, go ahead and upload them. You will want to make sure though that you at least have the assetbundle for the right device you yourself are using to test your experience. For example, if I created a PC Asset Bundles for a Windows 10 device, it would look like this during an after uploading the sample Asset Bundle:One last setup note for the Space. Since we are not going to use the Dollhouse, let’s turn it off under the “Show Advanced Config” button. Set the IsDollhouseDisabled, MeepleDisabled and DisableTableRing to True and click on Update Space. Then hit “Create Space” at the bottom of the page and Altoura will create a Space that can be viewed using the devices that you have uploaded Asset Bundles for. Now that we have a Space with content inside of it, let’s make that content do something!
