Opening a Training

Trainings are accessed through direct links provided by your administrator or launched from the Altoura Dashboard.

Open the Training Link

Click the training link shared by your administrator or launch a training from the Altoura Dashboard

Log In (If Needed)

If you’re not already logged in, you’ll be automatically redirected to the Altoura login platform to authenticate. Once logged in, you’ll be redirected back to your training.

Wait for Loading

A loading screen appears with the training name and a progress bar while the 3D environment and assets load. This usually takes a few seconds.

Resume or Start Fresh

If you’ve previously started this training and it supports resuming, you’ll be asked “Do you want to resume experience” — choose Yes to pick up where you left off, or No to start over.

Choose a Mode (If Available)

If the training supports assessment mode, you’ll be asked to choose between Practice (guided with full visual hints) and Assessment (no visual guidance, testing your knowledge). This step only appears for trainings that have assessment mode enabled.

Training Begins

Once loading is complete, the training begins and you’ll see the first step
Authentication: The Trainee App uses a centralized Altoura login system. All login, password reset, and SSO happens on the Altoura login platform — not within the Trainee App itself.

Troubleshooting

Authentication Issues

Click Try Again to restart the login process. If the issue persists, ensure you have a valid account with your organization and contact your training administrator.
Make sure you’re connected to the internet. Try refreshing the page. If it still doesn’t work, your organization’s login service may be temporarily unavailable — try again later or contact your administrator.
This can happen if your session expired. Refresh the page — you’ll be redirected to log in again, and then returned to your training automatically.
Since authentication happens on the Altoura login platform, password resets and SSO configuration are managed there. Contact your training administrator for help with login credentials or SSO setup.

Still Having Issues?

If you can’t access your training after trying these steps, reach out to your training administrator with:
  • The exact error message you see
  • Your email address
  • The training URL you’re trying to access
