Object Properties

The right-side object properties pane is the detailed editing surface for the selected object. Object properties pane Object properties pane with detailed controls for the selected object.

Empty State

If the pane is open with no selection, users see:
  • No Object Selected
  • Select an object from the scene to view and edit its properties

Standard Sections

The pane can include:
  • Object name and quick actions
  • Transform
  • Pivot
  • Material
  • Animation
  • Collider

Properties Header

The header area of the properties pane includes:
  • Object name
  • Visibility toggle
  • Delete button
Restrictions:
  • Initial User Position cannot be renamed or deleted
  • Initial User Position cannot be hidden

Transform

Objects can be moved, rotated, and scaled through:
  • The viewport gizmo
  • The object ribbon tab
  • The properties pane
Transform editing supports:
  • X, Y, and Z numeric entry
  • Context-menu copy and paste behavior on inputs
  • Uniform scale linking
  • Keyframe insertion while recording
When the timeline is playing, transform inputs are disabled to avoid accidental edits during playback.

Pivot

For eligible objects, users can edit the pivot from the properties pane. Workflow:
  1. Open the Pivot section.
  2. Click the pencil icon to enter pivot editing.
  3. Adjust the object’s gizmo in the viewport.
  4. Choose Cancel to discard or Finish to keep the result.
  5. Use Center Pivot to place the pivot automatically at the center.
Pivot number fields are editable only during active pivot edit mode.

Material

Material editing is available for supported objects. The Material section can include:
  • Material Name
  • Color
  • Base Texture
  • Tiling: X, Y
  • Offset: X, Y

Object Animation Settings

When animation data exists on an object, the animation section can include:
  • Always Animate
  • Takes
  • Mode
  • Direction
  • Speed
Supported mode values:
  • Once
  • Loop
  • Ping Pong
Supported direction values:
  • Forward
  • Backward

Collider

Colliders define collision shapes for objects. Supported collider types:
  • Box
  • Sphere
  • Capsule
Users can:
  • Add a collider
  • Delete a collider
  • Enable or disable a collider
  • Mark a collider as Is Trigger
  • Edit center
  • Edit size for box colliders
  • Edit radius for sphere colliders
  • Edit radius, height, and axis direction for capsule colliders

Object-Specific Settings

From the object ribbon tab, users can toggle:
  • Environment object
  • isTeleportable
